Background
Facebook Marketplace is a marketplace that allows users to shop for anything their heart desires right in their neighborhood. From furniture to vehicles, and from vintage shoes to…mermaid crowns? Whatever you want, Your Neighbors Have It.
Task
We were tasked with using social media in an authentic way to tell Gen-zers that all the vintage, unique finds they want are closer to them than expected.
Execution
In a short mini-series way, we wanted to highlight the interesting interactions between buyers and sellers who are also neighbors. Keeping authenticity as our lighthouse, we asked real people to reenact their stories of meeting their neighbors. We also asked some beloved IG influencers to create some UGC videos of them meeting real sellers online and purchasing items from their Marketplace Store. I also had the chance to
